The Victoria Business Consulting Club is a Victoria University of Wellington club run by students. VBC was founded in 2014, and we have competed in case consulting competitions since.

We run internal competitions each year. These are open to any undergraduate Victoria University of Wellington student. In these competitions, teams of four are given a case on a real business. Teams analyse the case, propose strategies for the business including how to implement and finance the strategies, and then present their work to a panel of judges.

VBC runs two rounds of our Development Squad training program each year. This is a five-week training program in which teams do case practice each weekend and are given advice from our coaching team.

VBC members can also be selected to compete in a variety of national and international case competitions. Travel and accommodation costs for these competitions are either partially or fully funded and are a great learning experience.

The locations of international competitions VBC members have attended include Australia, Hungary, USA, Hong Kong and Norway.

VBC also hosts a variety of social events and training workshops throughout the year which are open to all members.
